Google India released an Online Search trend analysis report for Indian Auto industry. The report clearly demonstrates consumer Search Behavior in the last 2 years (2009 & 2010) in the auto segment (Cars & Bikes). Google India Auto Report emphasizes that Indian Consumers are increasingly using online medium / search to make Auto purchase decisions.

Key Highlights of the report:

• Auto Vertical is growing faster than other key verticals like Travel & Finance
• Entry & Mid Segment Cars – price ranging 2Lakhs to 6 Lakhs are vastly searched Online in India
• Diesel Cars are the deal for the day; demand for the diesel cars has increased 3 times in the last 2 years.
